Things to Do on Valentine's Day Weekend in NYC

Valentine's Day 2016 is on a Sunday, and that means NYC has great plans for you and your special someone for day and evening this weekend! There is always a museum, Broadway, comedy show and other standards of New York City. Here are some different ideas for you this weekend!

The good news is that some ideas are free!

Cupid's Undie Run
Cupid's Undie Run is a charity fundraiser for children with tumors, but it is also a fun event to participate, or just watch for free laughs. At noon on Saturday, come watch people run a race in their undies, and if you and your special someone are up for it, join the fun by registering!

Love in Times Square
This annual event is free to spectators who can enjoy watching couples going through proposals and even some quick weddings! It's a fun outdoor sightseeing and people-watching fun for those who want to enjoy a casual night out before or after dinner.

Walk in Central Park
Who cares if it is cold? Central Park is a free paradise in snow or sunshine. Go for a stroll through the rambles or check out Strawberry Fields. Maybe take some romantic pictures or selfies with your special other half and make it a silly night out. Did you know you could get flowers planted in the park in your Valentine's name? Romantic!

Free Wine at Darbar
Every year, Darbar on 46 and Darbar on 55 dish out the most delicious Indian dinner menu for you and your special someone to enjoy on Valentine's Day. With dinner, you enjoy a free glass of wine, too!

Happy Valentine's Day from all of us at Darbar!
